Sandgate (Newcastle NSW) Cemetery now online.

Sandgate Cemetery, Newcastle, reputed to be the third largest in New South Wales with over 80,000 burials, has gone online. Completely free access, and with grave photographs, Google map location of each grave, statistics, and so on.

Don’t you wish they were all like that? The only thing that seems to be missing is that you can’t search for the occupants of a particular grave. Maybe that will come later.

Thanks Alan - I have many family members from the district but I thought not so many in Newcastle itself - one of the surnames gives no graves - the other - 26 pages - so there have to be a few of mine within.
