i am trying to find out where in new zealand robert kelly paton died, he was born in glasgow 1918 and arrived in new zealand in 1952 with his wife sarah logan .

A search on the website Births, Deaths & Marriages Online https://bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/search/ shows an entry for the death of a Robert Kelly Paton b. 28 Feb 1918 in NZ in 1977. You can order this online from that site and elect to have a printout (note, choose 'printout', not certificate) emailed to you. Once the transaction is complete, the printout is sent to you within a couple of days (I have ordered printouts from them before and they were supplied pretty promptly within a couple of days or so). The printout is NZ$20.40 which at today's exchange rate is under 10 pounds ...
