Can you give us some idea of the approximate time span your looking at, for birth, marriage or emigration to South Africa, both for Mary and the Kelmans. That would be helpful.

hi my gt grandmother was mary kelman stewart she went to south africa after the death of her mum
in 1899
and she worked for a aunt
i think the aunt is mary abernethy nee kelman dickinson
i know that she met her future husband in south africa and they eventually went to australia
her first daughter was born in Johannesburg
