Born in West Indies?

Post by emanday » Thu Dec 21, 2006 11:55 pm

One of my rellies was apparently born in the West Indies as a British subject, (her father was a shipbuilder there).

I really don't know how to find her birth details. I know who her father and mother were from her MC, but I'd really like to get her BC and their MC etc...

I've tried Ancestry, 1837online (now findmypast) without any success.

Her name was Margaret Leslie Badenoch born c1845, father Charles Badenoch and mother Sarah Smith.
