Hi Russell
Work has been awful, but the end is in sight - 3 new people start on 1st October, so here's hoping.
Happy to help with anything you need. Can copy things etc if you need it.

Hi Liz
Glad the end of 12 hour shifts appears to be in sight.
Other folk might be interested too. The Old Library Centre has full photocopying/laminating/faxing facilities so no problem there. They will be available on the day if anyone needs them.
If events quieten down for you before The Day just relax and take a bit of a break. You deserve it.

Hi Annie
I put a link in for the Old Library Centre (the venue) in the first post of this thread.
Have a look at http://www.kipcokil.com/ It shows the building and has a link to a local map for directions.
If you are coming from the Glasgow side drive out to the Airport then bear left on the Irvine road. A couple of miles further on, just past Johnstone, there is a slip road off to Kilbarchan.
Turn right off the slip road into the double round-about, then left into the main road up through the village and it is about a mile further up the road just beyond the War Memorial, which is on the left. The Old Library, on the right, is in a street which is quiet and usually has plenty parking space.
I usually refresh memories before now but other arrangements have been taking up my (limited
) attention.

Excuse the hysterical laughter but I feel as old as some of my rellies (were they still alive) as I never thought to click on a link...assumed (never assume cos you just make an ass of u n me said my old boss) that the links were general links about Kilbarchan.
Thank you!
ANnie

Hi All,
Thanks to Russell for hosting an enjoyable event. Thanks to David for doing both presentations after Anne had to call off through illness. By the end, some of the people were talking about staging more such events, so the enthusiasm is certainly there.
Watch out for announcements in 2008.
All the best,
AndrewP

Hi all,
Many thanks to Russell and David.
You certainly made it a most enjoyable and interesting day.
Anne, so sorry you had to miss it - hope you're soon on the mend.
What a lovely venue it is; and good food too, with fresh tea & coffee on tap.
You wouldn't believe how easy it is (for me anyway) to get lost in a village...!
My map reading "skills" leaves much to be desired....
Cheers - Jack
