I am trying to find out where Inglis Glen, Colinton was. I have a Frederick George Harrison born there in 1906. His father was a coachman so was wondering who he worked for. Anyone familiar with this place? He is not there in the census either side.

It is more likely to be Inglis Green. Is that a possibility from the document that you have with that on it? Inglis Green was between Slateford and Longstone villages, on the northern edge of Colinton Parish, nowadays (since 1920) within the City of Edinburgh.

This shows "Inglisgreen Bleachfield", by what is nowadays Inglis Green Road (a couple of miles from home for me).
It may be worth looking at the Valuation Rolls (1905 is available there) on ScotlandsPeople to see if his house appears there, with him as a tenant. The important piece of information that should be there is the owner of the property. That may lead to finding who his employer was. Many coachmen stayed in a tied property, often over the stable (later garage).

I had a quick peek at the 1905 Valuation Roll, and there is your man Frederick Harrison, in a lodge to Inglis Green House. It seems that the house and lodge owners, the Stevensons were the proprietors of A & J MacNab the Launderers and Dyers across the road from the house.
