broadsides at the NLS

Post by David Flint » Mon Jan 30, 2006 6:49 pm

Hello Jean,
Yes the broadsides on 'The Word of the Street' at the NLS are interesting and I'm glad you have drawn attention to them. I am searching for broadsides of poems by Janet Reid of Carnock or of Bridge of Allen and one of her poems called 'On a Comfortable Cup of Tea' is reproduced there. It gives a very good impression of the sort of thing I am looking for - so if anyone comes across any more please let me know!
