Catherine & Isabella's parents were Thomas FRASER & Agnes CRAN who married in Daviot , Aberdeenshire, on 8 Nov 1840, after a bit of coercion by the Session. Seems Thomas was a bit reluctant to acknowledge his responsibilites, but that didn't stop him from having another 8 children with Agnes after they got married!
You have helped me here, as the informant of Agnes FRASER, ms CRAN's death on 23 Jun 1911 at 38a West High St, Inverurie was T (or J, I couldn't make it out) BETTS, son-in-law, and I could not figure out who he married.
Catherine FRASER was baptised on 4 Jul 1852 in the Free Church of Inverurie, and Isabell was born on 1 Apr, 1855, the informant was her father, Thomas.
Thomas died of suffocation after the sides of a pump well he was digging fell in on him at Farm of Tavelty, Kintore, on 6 Jan 1860.
My husband is descended from Catherine & Isabella's sister, Agnes Innes FRASER, born 8 Sep 1842, Inverurie, and I have a fair bit of detail to share if you're interested.

Re: Frasers from Inverurie
Dear Helen and Rae,
My great grandfather, Thomas Fraser, was a brother of Catherine (Kate) Betts.
I have 3 photos of her, and Tim and their (3) children, which I shall be happy to send to you, along with a family tree which includes them.
Kind regards,
John Blomfield

Hello John and a warm
It has been some time since either of the original posters signed into the forum, but with some luck (if they haven't changed their email address) they will still get a notification of your post. I'm sure they would be very glad to see the photos!
All the best,
Sarah

Yes, about 19 years; but worth a try.
