Polockus family

Post by charlie frame » Tue Oct 24, 2006 5:15 am

Hi Cathie.

If I am correct, you are talking about the polockus family who lived downstairs from my aunty Jeany Davidson, in 64 Burnside crescent Blantyre, during W.W.11 right up past the 1950s.

I remember there were 3 or 4 waens. three girls, and a boy. If memory serves me right, but I only remember Nancy the youngest girl, and John the Boy clearly.

In fact I went into a Blantyre pub, to meet my brother William, when I was back for a visit from Western Australia, he just happened to be playing Dominos with John Polockus at a table on their own, seams they were the best of pals. John was doing well at that time. Mind you, this was twenty years ago, but I believe the family is still in Blantyre.

Cheers, Charlie frame from the BUGGIE Building in Auchinraith Rd.

Hi Chic,

Yep that is my family, funnily enough i was just visiting my aunt Nancy last week. :) I love when people fill me in with little stories as I really don't know much, wish i'd taken the time to get to know my family better. lol
