Neat thought, but Heart of Midlothian FC were founded in 1874 and Hibernian FC were founded in 1875 ..........

Thanks David for the info re the dates.
Interesting thing I found this morning when I put Tyncastle Police Depot into Google. It came up with CFA Archaelogical Ltd. wee note said there was a plan to build a football stadium on the site! When I clicked, no further info as it seemed to be talking about trams, don't know if this was 19th century or the present plans.
So it would appear, my gr gr grandfather did die at Tynecastle!
