Thanks again for all your kind words!
It has been a tough few days, everyone getting used to each other etc., but we're working through it. I'm sure all the TS parents will know exactly what the first week is like!
Best wishes,
Scott

Dear TS Honorary Uncles & Aunts,
A quick update on Wee Alex, who is doing extremely well and even managed a full nights sleep on Wednesday! He's just under three months old and weighing a healthy fifteen pounds (he's a rather long baby - something he has inherited from his Fifeshire Thomson ancestors.) There's something rather magical about walking into his room first thing in the morning and seeing his smiling face beaming up at us.
I've updated the picture at http://www.scottwishart.co.uk/alexander - he's kipping again, which seems to be the only time I take photographs being that when he's awake we're rather pre-occupied feeding, changing nappies and playing with the lad.
Best to everyone,
Scott

Thanks Jean! Everyone who has met him has instantly fallen in love with the wee fella.
I also meant to mention that he'll be making his first trip north over the border, to the ancestral homeland at the end of this month. There is a small army of McDonald relatives just dying to meet the latest member of the family.
I'm also looking forward to showing him all the places my sisters and I were taken to as children. I suspect he won't be that interested, but the fresh air will do him some good!
Best,
Scott

Oh Scott, what a wee honey. I love the way you have chosen to photograph him in black & white. It gives the photo a timeless elegance about it.
Had a wee trawl through your other photos, very impressed! From your site I found myself on Helen's site - hoping to catch her exhibiting at Potfest in Perth this year.
All the best and give wee Alex a big hug.
