Looking for ...but not limited to Haldane ,Keir ,McLauchlan ,Walker ,Torrance , Reid ,Clark ,Johnstone ,Holmes ,Laurie ,Lawrie ,Strachan , McIlwee ,Welsh ,Queate ,Stewert ,McNight ,Steele ,Cockburn ,Young ....whew! That's more than enough for now.

Will post as much as I know Margaret Ash(e) prev Devitt /ms Mclean licensed pedlar gave birth to my mother also Margaret in parish of Carnie Aberdeenshire 1908 Next doubtful sighting and I say doubtful was in Stirling area around 1913 She is recorded as being deceased on mothers marriage lines before 1936 and that is basically all that I know___________________Jimmy

searching for my maternal grandmother who was a pedlarand there seems to be a terrible lack of information about these people does no one have any idea how to go about finding anythingconcerning them i dont even know where she could be buried any chance of a mclean having any idea grasping at straws now___________jimmy_____________________
