Ancestors from Fraserburgh.....

Post by moresmall » Wed Jun 22, 2005 9:03 pm

Hi all

I have just joined this group, and havenet had time to look through all the back postings. Am entering up my interests in the hope that someone out there is researching the same folk, all from Fraserburgh and surrounding countryside.

My families of interest are John May (young jockey borra) & Jane Ritchie. Wilson Noble & Rachael Cardno, Joseph Ritchie & Mary Ann Mitchell (1), Ann Watt (2). and Alexander Cardno & Mary Stewart Buchan.

If these names area familiar would love to hear from anyone.

Regards

Maureen, x Fraserburgh but now living in New Zealand.

Hello,

I'm searching for the descendants of Margaret Watt of Fraserburgh. I have no date of birth or other details to go by. However, I suspect she was born in the mid to late 18th century...even possibly up to 1800. During my research online, I recall coming across some mention that Christian Watt's mother was Margaret Watt. I've attached a picture of Margaret's (or Margareh?) signature. Does anyone recognize this signature by chance?

Thanks,
C.
