Hi from Down Under,

I have had a years break from Genealogy due to getting a sore head with brick walls and am just starting back.

Guess I may as well start by posting my main surname interests and see if anyone is researching the same:

Paternal line is SNADDON/SNADON/HUNTER/HALL/ALLAN/PATERSON/HARROWER in Alloa & Clackmannan

Maternal line is CUNNINGHAM/MILLAR/LAING/FAULDS/PENNEY in Fife & Perthshire

ps I have several of the names you mentionned but they're fairly common ones not in the right place.

The trouble with my SNADDON/SNADON names is the fact they are so common, all coal miners, all intermarried, all from the same region with William, John, Joseph and James being the predominate male names in each generation.
