How do I trace someone who must have left the country?.....

Post by eidacam » Wed Jun 29, 2005 8:40 pm

I have ancestor who either left the country in about 1890 or changed identity. His name was Henry Mcadie. He has no death record, no mention on any census north or south of the boarder and no mention in any of the Glasgow, Edinburgh or Inverness Post Office directories in the early part if the 20C. He has a motive. His wife was in a lunatic asylum. Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

Hello and welcome,

It would help if you could give us a little bit more info ie. Henry's age and place of birth, his wife's name and age, dates and places are always welcome.
