My gt,gt,gt grandfather was Andrew Harvey a farmer,I think in Lanakshire.He married a Grace Jackson.Grace reported her birth place as Roberton on cencus of 1851,and 1861.
Their son David was born 1840, and his father died before cencus of 1851.Grace reported her age as 54 at that time. She died in 1865.
Grace and David were in Glasgow by 1851 InnerHigh ward.
Despite this I cannot find any marriage details for Grace and David or info re Andrews death.
I wonder as well if David had some Older brothers/sisters as his mother would have been over 40 on his birth.
Harvey/Jackson marriage circa 1818.....
