mcdougall and lafferty greenock.....

i am looking for any connections to my great grandparents
douglad mcdougall and agnes crombie or cromie married in greenock in 1859
also james lafferty and elizabeth galbraith married in greenock in 1878
if this looks familiar i would appriciate any help christine

I don't know if this is the kind of thing you are looking for but here are some children born to Dougald and Agnes. Agnes is called Crumb for most of these.

i think this is the right family my great grandad was hugh and he is listed on his marrige cert as a lathsplitter
i do appriciate this as i didnt have these

Hello Christine,

No apologies needed - you are not a pain.

Go to www.familysearch.org and click on go to old family search.
In the father's name box type Dougall Mcdougall, in the mother's details just type Agnes - do not put any surname.
