Hew or Hughes in Angus 1750.....

Hello,

I researching my Hew or Hughes ancestors in Angus. Duncan Hew/Hughes was born, according to IGI in Kingoldrum, Angus 1750. He was the son of Thomas Hew, per IGI. The IGI doesn't list date of birth for Thomas. I have found an interesting possible connection: Alexander Hew is listed b. 1719 in the IGI. I learned of this tonight from the link to Hugh Wallis site I found on this forum. Thanks. :D
