Help needed on Beattie.....

Looking for any information on Robert (dob 1864) & Elizabeth Beattie (dob 1867) parents were Robert Beattie & Janet Copeland (various spelling) & born in Troqueer.This is the only information about them that I have.
Would be interested to know who & when married.

With that as a base you could check the 1891 census on SP to see if Elizabeth is still at home and take it from there.

Robert Beattie and Janet CoUpland married in 31 MAY 1864, Troqueer, Kirkcudbright, Scotland.

IGI lists three children born to this couple, two (including Elizabeth) perhaps in Dumfries.

1. WILLIAM BEATTIE - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Birth: 22 NOV 1864 Troqueer, Kirkcudbright, Scotland
2. ELISABETH BEATTIE - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Birth: 10 MAY 1866 Tinwald, Dumfries, Scotland
3. JANET BEATTIE - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Birth: 10 MAY 1866 Tinwald, Dumfries, Scotland

No sign of a Robert Beattie to this couple there is a Robert Coupland born to an unmarried Janet in 1864 in Dumfries but it's very unlikely to be yours.
Searching for Keogh, Kelly, Fitzgerald, Riddell, Stewart, Wilson, McQuilkin, Lynch, Boyle, Cairney, Ross, King, McIlravey, McCurdy, Drennan and Woods (to name but a few).

Also looking for any information on Rathlin Island, County Antrim, Ireland.

In the information that you sent you give the same birth dates for 2 people,does that mean that they were twins??????

Yes looks like they were twins but it doesn't look like Janet survived.
