William Rodger- Tenant Farmer Follyet Farm Wood Hall c. 1780-1800’s

Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone could help me finding info on my hubby’s 3 x GG. I know
he was a farmer leasing land in 1809 on Follyet farm on the Wood Hall estate in Bothwell,
Lanarkshire. I also know that he and his family were reformed Presbyterian’s and can’t find any
of his children’s births, on the o,p.r’s. I think his brother’s James & John also were farmers on
the same estate.

My question is, where can I find any estate papers for Wood Hall ? I’ve seen an 1809 estate map,
that mentions their tack of land, but can’t find anything else apparently they were there for several
generations.

Thanks,

Daryl
