Dickson family, Berwickshire and Roxburghshire.....

My ggggrandparents were Robert Dickson (1740?-1818?) and Agnes Jaffrey (1752?-1828) Most of their children were born in Eccles parish, including my gggrandfather Archibald (1786-1866). They were at Gladswood farm, Mertoun parish in the 1790s.
Archibald married Elizabeth Rutherford Turnbull of Bedrule, Rox. in 1812 and emigrated to Canada in 1833 (she and the family followed a year later)
I'm trying to find out more about Robert and Agnes (Her father was probably Patrick and his father probably James, if the naming pattern holds true). Any help is greatly appreciated. I have a lot on the family here, if I can help you.
