Greetings,
I am new to the list and enjoying browsing around. I live a couple of miles from a Scottish Cemetery in Argyle, Illinois USA. The Willow Creek Cemetary is sponsored by the Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, also in Argyle. The cemetery association was formed in 1859, but some graves are older. The town of Caledonia is next to Argyle and there is a Ralston Rd. nearby too. The cemetery is beautifully maintained and contains many very, very large markers, some monument like. There are many, many Ralstons, Armours, Browns, Mc etc. etc. . Several of the markers say native of Cambellstown, Argyleshire Scotland. If anyone would like any information, pictures, etc., I would be pleased to look for you. The Willow Creek Presbyterian Church is very large, with twin spires, that looks like it should be in a big city, rather than sitting out in a very small town in the country.

Hello Paul
If you are in the cemetery could you look out for McCallums and Morrisons please? Donald McCallum and his family settled in Illinois from 1910, originally from Tarbert, Loch Fyne, Argyllshire. His sister Catherine married Nathaniel Morrison, from Campbeltown, and raised their family in Illinois too.
Thank you for the kind offer
