Regiment Badge
Hi, this photo of my girlfriend's late father was taken while he was doing National Service. He was from the Bonnybridge area of Falkirk and was born in 1931. I am trying to establish what regiment badge is shown. I have been told it is the badge of the Royal Artillery. Any corroboration of this or any other ideas would be most welcome.

Re: Regiment Badge
It certainly looks like an R.A. cap badge, comparing it to google search results.
A cannon with large wheels, topped by a crown and an inscribed ribbon beneath.
I had a look at other regiments' badges but none are anything like that, so I think your first assumption is correct.
