Sandra, Hello, We think that our Samuel was born in Co. Down, in 1865, to parents Bernard Clarke and Sarah Allan.......although we cannot confirm this. We know that he went to jail in 1899/1900, and that his wife Susanna McDowell and young son Samuel Allan Clarke came over to Scotland and never went back......unfortunately it does not look like your Samuel and our's is the same person, which is a shame, as any information, both for you, and for us, would have been most appreciated......Thanks for the reply, Regards Del.
