Does anyone know where to find modern military records (post 1960) or if you can ?

Also is there a place where promotion would be advertised - London Gazette?

Thanks in Advance

Cheers Bruce

He has always been known to be a Major , but i can see no promotions for anyone with the family name nvere mind the first name, maybe its one of those "family" legends!!!
