WW2 RAF Bomber Command

Post by Liz Turner » Thu Jul 10, 2008 9:12 pm

Folks - I've come across a very interesting site dedicated to RAF's Bomber Command. The site operates very much like TS ... I've been doing some online research about my gt uncle and have had help from some really great people. This is the link to their site:-

Their aims are very similar to TS but their subject is more limited than ours ... the Squadrons in the RAF. This will obviously be of interest to TS members from around the world with relatives who joined the Air Forces in WW2.

I found this page of particular help when trying to find where Allan joined up. One of their members has gone to a wee bit of trouble to post this:-

I'd definitely say to any of you with WW2 relatives who served (NOT limited to just UK citizens or only air forces) to have a look.

Cheers.
