Just passed Strathclyde's PGCert in Genealogical Studies!

Post by Chris Paton » Tue Sep 18, 2007 3:10 pm

I've just passed my postgraduate certificate in Genealogical Studies at the University of Strathclyde! :) So now I am as happy as the proverbial pig - it was hard work...! lol :) (Officially it means I can now spell 'genealogy' without having to resort to the use of a dictionary any more...!)

I'll be going on to do the PG diploma which starts October 6th, but I've posted details on the public lecture programme accompanying the diploma in the What's On section. These will be monthly, and there are some top names giving lectures there - David Dobson for example, and Ros McCutcheon.

I'll hopefully see some of you there! :)

Chris :)

I think it's more a case of an obsession with history slowly turning into a form of genealogical sado-masichism! lol :)

Chris
Love the description! Congratualtions!

First Andy, now Chris, maybe we'll need to set up a TS "Graduate's Honour Role"

While Chris has my wholehearted congratulations on this success; given the extremely strict rules that prevail on TalkingScot, including the very clear precedents set since the start of TalkingScot, then given the fact that Chris is demonstrably in business to make a profit from genealogical research, - see his website at http://XXXXXXXXXXXX , - albeit not directly referred to here, - I have a major problem in seeing how this is not effectively advertising for personal gain ?!
