Found a death on SP. I discovered the older children must have had a different mother who had obviously died and the father had married again. Fortunately the younger half brother registered it. It's always a bit awkward when the births and deaths are just before 1855 and it's a common name. Now that I've got it I don't know what took me so long

I've got the 1841 Census entry now too $\:D/$

After a find like that I usually go around grinning and then scratching my head, muttering, "Now, why didn't I think of that before?"

It's also given me a new name "McPhun" which is name I was intrigued by years and years ago when I first heard it
