Next door was a McDonald family who I never forgot about, because the head of the house was Lewis McDonald and my father in law was called Lewis McDonald Fraser. It was filed in "may be of some use someday"
It all came together today and I'm over the moon. Not only did the oldest Fraser girl marry the oldest McDonald boy, it turns out that the Fraser girl's mother and the McDonald boy's father are cousins. This Fraser/McDonald couple share the same g g grandparents who were born in the 1750's.
It get's worse or better, however you look at it. The Fraser girl's mother married for a second time. She married the grandson of her grandfather's sister!!
