fame at last

Post by gloryer » Wed Mar 29, 2006 8:54 am

Just found a wonderful article about my 3xgreat grandfather John McKerrow. He was a champion draughts player and was in the finals for £100 in 1858 and £200 in 1859. He played against his rival whom he lived next to in Douglas, Robert Martin.
Have been researching for about 3 years now but had no idea about his little hobby.
