A Second Cousin

Post by Linda Malpass » Tue May 02, 2006 3:29 am

I have just found a second cousin on my McCracken side through genes reunited, her grandmother and my grandfather were brother and sister. She remembers visiting with her grandmother at Burnfoot Rows in New Cumnock where all of my McCracken ancestors lived and we have exchanged letters and pictures and I have phoned her a couple of times, she was just elated to find me, as was I. She lives in Troon and is coming to out to British Columbia in July, going on the Alaskan Cruise, so we will meet for a few hours after her cruise before she heads back on a night flight to Scotland, so little time to catch up on over 100 years of McCracken history :!:
