Unexpected First Photo

I discovered some new GGG Grand Uncles & Aunts (Is that the correct term???) today and I found a couple of photos of one of them on the internet.

Anstruther Davidson (born Feb 19 1860 in Watten) became a doctor and moved to Los Angeles. He was also a botanist and wrote a book on southern California plants. There is a plant named after him too.

The photos are of him and some others,including Andrew Carnegie, at the Hotel Maryland in Pasedena.

It was quite a treat to find the photo. I wonder how many more years until I find another.
