Found Webster Fleming

Post by Susie Q » Fri Oct 06, 2006 12:11 pm

I've just realised that I probably posted on the wrong forum, so I'll do it here as well.
I had no sucess trying to locate a death cert. for Webster on SP. I presumed that he had died after 1955, the cut off point on SP. I asked for help on TS and had replies from Jim & Jack. Like me they couldn't find anything, so that was that, another brick wall !
Yesterday, Webster's great-grandson sent me a PM after spotting my original post. The reason that we couldn't locate a death cert. was because he died in Saskatchewan!
Since then, I've been on the Canadian Archive site, and found mentions of Webster having served in WW1 and buying a tract of land in the Western Land Grants.

So, Lads and Lassies, NEVER give up. Someone, somewhere can always help out.
