Hi All,

I'm so excited, just had to share with some one.

My brother in law has a friend who's mother left him and his young brother with their father when he was only two years old. BIL asked if their was anything I could do with the sketchy info they had. Her name from the sons BC, a brother mayby named Robert and the fact she was born in Scotland.

Didn't know if there was much I could do as all my research involves the long dead, but got onto the National Archives of Australia. Didn't take long to find her immigration record, with her date of birth, parents names and the most important piece of info, the brother, whose name was actually Bryan Robert. They have now traced the brother on the electrol roll, phone calls have been made, and so ends a 35 year search.

I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy.

Great feeling, isn't it

My most recent one was connecting a man down your way with a half-sibling he never knew he had, having last seen his father when waving goodbye from a station platform (in Scotland) just after WWII.
