what ship

how would i go about finding out what ship thomas alexander boothby worked on. the only information is that he was a gym steward sailing from glasgow to new york between 1930-1939. :?

Hello cathy52,
Where did you get the information you already have? On ancestry.com there are quite a few passenger lists with Thomas included. Most appear to be on the vessel "California" with a few on the "Caledonia." If your local library has a subscription to Ancestry.com you could go there and download them all for your records. There is even a picture of the ship.
