Thanks, Anne, that's very useful.

Once we make our way to the correct section, are the individual lairs numbered on the ground, or do we have to arrange for a "guide"?

No, none of the lairs are numbered.

Now and again a stone will have the lair number etched on the base, but not always.

If you have a note of the lair number, a good idea would be to go to the CWGC site, check through all the CWGC burials and see if you can find some near the one you're looking for. Take a note of these and once you find them in the section, it can make it easier to figure out which way the lairs are running.

Should take you to the main index page for St. Kentigern's, it's A-Z, so you'll have to go through each page to find the Sections and Lair Numbers.

Alternatively, if you go Monday - Friday, and there's no-one in the office, there's usually staff around anywhere between Lambhill, the West Nec and St. K's.(The office is at the entrance to the West Nec., beside the Crematorium)
