Kilmallie Cemetery, Corpach

Post by JMac » Tue Nov 09, 2010 11:16 am

Hello to all,
I would like to find out if my GG grand mother Mary McCrea, or as it appears on her death record in Scotland Mcrea, but two of her and Andrew McCrea's children are spelt Mcrae. anyway, I would love to find out if Mary has a grave stone and the inscription that maybe on it.
she died on 13th Feb 1951
originally Andrew McCrea was born 1865 in Belfast or Ballymena County Antrim, as was Mary Leith, she was born 1866 in Ballymena County Antrim. I have noticed that Marys maiden name of Leith is spelt I think the Scottish way Leath.

any help on this matter would be appreciated.

John McCrea. (UK)

Hi John

No takers for your post yet so I thought I would bring it back to the fore.
I don't know if we have any members out Kilmallie way. Usually anyone who lives close is willing to stop off and reconnoitre for you. Because it is a more recent burial you might have to contact the local authority and give them details so they can do a search for you. It might cost you though.
