Lanarkshire Records

Post by jjlmary312 » Thu Jul 09, 2015 5:39 pm

HI, Is there a website for looking up records where people may be buried or have been cremated?. I used one website and got nothing and ran out of credits.
Not sure how to go about this one.

There's www.deceasedonline.com
but I don't know what the coverage is like for Lanarkshire.

Best wishes,
Meg

A lot of it depends on where and when the person died.

For instance, Daldowie and Linn crematoria have some books of remembrance online.

Hi

Thanks for this. I am looking at the late 70's and early 80s.

HI
Thanks for the information. Is there a newspaper for Hamilton that publishes birth, marriages and deaths?.
