John Weston

Looking for the final resting place of John Weston, Blacksmith at Gogar. Died at Gogar 16 July 1875. He is not on the family headstone in Gogar Churchyard.

Enquiries made at Mortonhall drew a blank with no record of him being buried in any of the city cemetries.

Help and advice would be appreciated.

No obvious sign of a funeral notice in The Scotsman archives.

Why are you looking for the grave?

Have you tried Corstorphine old parish church or Warriston Crematorium?
