From the census was Ann born in Campbeltown too?
Searching for Keogh, Kelly, Fitzgerald, Riddell, Stewart, Wilson, McQuilkin, Lynch, Boyle, Cairney, Ross, King, McIlravey, McCurdy, Drennan and Woods (to name but a few).

Also looking for any information on Rathlin Island, County Antrim, Ireland.

Hi Andy, in both the 1871 and 1881 census she is listed as being born in
Tobermory, Argyll. The copy from the 1881 is :

Dwelling: 53 Vennel Ann MC KENZIE Boarder Widowed 50 F Washerwoman Tobermory, Argyll, Scotland

Dwelling: 53 Vennel John MC KENZIE Head Widowed 60 M Carpenter Tobermory, Argyll, Scotland

In the 1871 census she was living with Cordelia at 161 Vennel. I haven't found her birth in the OPR yet - but I am going to try narrowing down her death to see what is listed and then her marriage. I've got a few more to try on SP, but that will have to wait until after the holidays - I've gone through a bit of change looking for her :) Best, Lisa
