Had a look and it looked mighty like pyper to me. Could not think of any further option.

The date (18th October) is given at the top of the page. Then the next entry is the 25th. They'll be being baptised on the Sunday, one presumes..

Siclike (and yes I agree there is an 'e' at the end) seems the most reasonable so far. The baptism is the last of three on that day. Then there are several on the 25th, the last of which says 'likewise'. So that's it. I'll post the whole page (didn't simply because of size).

So, now I'm looking for a George Jarden who was a piper... but I think I'm running out of records (unless he was from Edinburgh).
