Could someone please try to decipher this baptism record please at the bottom left on page 33?
Scotandspeople has it indexed as STEPHEN TOR/NANCY
I first saw it as Stephen Torley with the rest unreadable.
My ancestors were Stephen Turley and Nancy Rogan.
I have sent a pm to Scotlandspeople to see if they can helpbut as it is Christmas holidays it may take some time.
Lets hope next year will be a lot better than this one.

Re: Please decipher this baptism
Hello Maggie,
The image you posted is only 640x420 pixels and would be impossible to read properly at that resolution. Email programs often reduce image sizes to make it quicker to send which sort of works for photographs but not for this sort of thing. The original OPR image from SP would probably have had several thousand pixels in each direction.
Check the image you have at home to see if you have more than one. If so right click the image and click properties. That’ll show you the resolution.
If the full size image is too big to post view it onscreen at 1:1 and take a screen shot of the relevant general area using the snipping tool or whatever it's currently called in Windows.
All the best,
Alan

Re: Please decipher this baptism
See here a close-up of the page from ScotlandsPeople.
All I can add is that S B should be L S (Lawful Son). Others on the page are all LS or LD (lawful son or daughter).
See what else you may see in this version.
All the best,
AmdrewP
