Hello all

One wee problem (and I'm sure this is extremely common) I'm having is with pre-1855 records of Roman Catholic ancestors.

If anyone has any Park, Paul, Tait and Laird ancestors from the Tradeston area of Glasgow around that time - I'd be more than happy to hear from you.


Otherwise - any clues as to where I'm likely to get the info?

(Britten, Reilly, Armstrong and McDonald - Ireland), Livingstone, Hynd, Halkett, Beveridge, White and Smealls...for now

- but I do know that some Catholic births do turn up in the OPRs. Have you had a bash on the IGI?
