The IGI reports that Alexander Baillie was born in 1799 (no exact date) in Moy and Dalarossie, Inverness. Alexander's parents were William (not positive on father's name) and Margaret (born 1769).
That is the first hole in the wall my family and I have been looking for for a very long time.
Any suggestions on my next step, how I can get information on that church in Moy Dalarossie?
Thanks again, Dave

Hi Dave
& welcome to Talking Scot
These are the OPR records available for...
105. MOY AND DALAROSSIE

105/2* B 1820-54 M - D -
* Includes a copy of the 1821 and 1831 Census returns
You can order this information in microfilm format from your nearest LDS Family History Centre for a small fee.
To find your nearest centre go to:
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... et_fhc.asp
Please be aware however, tht the record you refer to (shown below) on the IGI is a submission by a LDS church member, it is not taken directly from the OPR, so it may not be there - note it says about 1799 - this is an estimate made by the submitter. Sometimes submissions are accurate, sometimes they are not.

Thanks Lesley
Thanks, Lesley
I actually have a LDS Family History Center very close to my home so that will be very handy.
I'm writing down the roll numbers you gave and taking them with me. That should really help alot.
You have been an enormous help.
Thanks again, Dave

Just visited the LDS Family History Center last night and found a film for the Church regestrar for Clyne, Sutherland and Moy Dalarossie. Should have them in hand in a couple of weeks.
Keep our fingers crossed!
Thanks again,
Dave
