Of Mathew Flager in the paroch of Cragie:- John, aged 14
Of Grisell Johnstoun in the paroch of Crafoord, December 3, at tuo in the morning:- James aged 1.
The ancestors of Duncan Forbes are living in Armagh today along with some Cuthill’s who originally came frae Bo’ness.
Jim McKnight has kindly given me permission to copy some of his books.
There is a particular one, which I am sure no one on here, or anyone else in Scotland, has seen.
It has sermons and records of baptisms by James Renwick, only about six inches square and gey fragile.
This should not be in a private collection, and Yer Man knows it.
I have made an offer to purchase, but do not have sufficient funds.
“Let us be lions in God’s cause and lambs in our own”
At the moment we are transferring some of the documents and records onto disc.
Mostly in PDF
We are waiting for an expert to handle the good stuff.
I wonder how they don’t trust me wey it?
Hopefully we will have the cd rom ready for Christmas.

Believe it or not, Sarah, but my cousin was baptised in the early hours of the morning!
Her baptism was actually booked for the following week but she took very ill and the minister was called out to baptise her because the doctor didn't think she'd survive the night.
Last time I saw her she had just got her Pensioners bus pass and looked hale and hearty
