#52Ancestors Challenge

Post by chiddicks » Sat Jan 18, 2020 4:00 pm

Is anybody trying the Amy Johnson Crow challenge?

52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks
I have been reading about this and thought some of you might be interested in having a go!

You don't need to publish it online but maybe you might want to join in on here or just follow it on your own

Here is the introductory video:

Remember you don’t have to do every single week either

Here is my week 3 story from the prompt “Long Line”

I regularly start out composing write-ups every year since this challenge began a few years back... but never actually carry through to the end! In addition, I ignore the prompts and just write about an ancestor who interests me and who I have been researching. It's a great deal of fun to go into detail about each one and find all the bits of information that can be found. I end up with a short novel about each one which takes way more than a week to complete!

Best wishes,

Sarah

Hi Sarah thats the beauty of this, you can do exactly what you want and how you want, anything that you write is a bonus.

I have written biographies on my 8 great grandparents previously and have started on my 16 great grandparents now, they can be found here if you are interested
