This definitely is a senior moment ...... Have you ever been able to download the census records from Ancestry?

Annette

Hi Annette,

I always just save to my computer... is that what you mean?

Best,
Sarah

Hi Annette,

Yes for England
No for Scotland (transcriptions only)
elsewhere - I don't know.

All the best,

Thanks Andrew and Sarah.

It is the Scottish transcriptions I'm talking about. I can't believe I've just noticed this and have been a member for more years than I care to remember.
I usually print them off.

So I assume I can't share these either?

Kind regards,
Annette

Hi Annette,

The only way to share the Scottish census transcriptions is to transcribe them again yourself (what I usually do.) Otherwise, I suppose you could take a screen shot of each person's record in the household...

Not as convenient as downloading the images of the other censuses! But useful to have nonetheless for searching.

[cheers]

Ahh screen shot. Now why didn't I think of that. Better than copying and pasting.

Thanks Sarah.

Hi
I would normally Go to print and on the print options page select Save as a PDF (this is with Windows 10)
