Hi Cathy

I have only one question.....what makes you think she died before 1956? I mean isn't is quite possible her DC exists but isn't available in the SP online indexes?

Best wishes
Jean

Hi Jean,
I don't know what I was thinking when I posted this. (Long week).
I did have a researcher have a look, and he couldn't find her.

Hi Cathy

Ok...another puzzle piece then. Assuming a researcher looked in all the available Scottish records then we have to assume she's not there or she's poorly indexed. Reasons for her not to be there are she left the country either willingly through emigration or mysteriously through alien abduction. Of course she might be hiding with my missing Helen Henderson too

Have you tracked down all her husbands and offspring to try and narrow up a death search window?? Maybe there are still some clues you've yet to discover?? (truly grasping at straws but.......)

Best wishes
Jean

Hi Jean,
thanks for your ideas.
John Mangan died 1933 Ayr - UR Paisley.
No trace of death for Hugh Connolly in Scotland.
I think she probably is with your Helen, and all the others I can't find.

My great uncle lived in Scotland all his life, but went to England to attend a cousin's funeral. While there he had a heart attack and died, so his death was registered in England. So is there any chance your relative could have been in England.
