Viewing Gallery

Hi all,I can't view the postings in the gallery.Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?Is it something I need to turn on or turn off or down load? :-k

Nothing special required to view gallery. No downloads, no switches.

If you can view tifs and jpgs in other progs, then you should be able to view the pictures.

Please describe, in detail, precisely what steps you are making. Your query is too general to give us guidance.

JPEG-ok : TIFF-not

Hi Folks,

I too have trouble with the Gallery - but it's only TIFF images i can't see, no problem with JPEG.

I know it's something i've done (or not done) with my computer - not the fault of TS.

Any advice? TIA - Jack

I can't open TIFFs either - everything else is fine and I don't have any trouble opening TIFFs elsewhere. :?

Tiffs

Hello all you TifF-less people.

Inability to show TIF files can be one of 2 possibles.

a) Your viewer cannot handle that particular variety of TIF file
b) Your browser is blocking the download of file

Please, would every person having difficulty, do the following.

Upload a tif file from your PC to the gallery (any old pic, as long as it is a tif file). Check to see if you can download it by clicking on icon. The icon appears because the Gallery cannot produce a thumbnail of a tif file.

Post the results here

Hello Dave,

I am also having the same problem. I did as you suggested but I cannot view the file. http://talkingscot.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-88

On the file information page it shows the image size 93kb but pixels are 0 x 0. This is the same for all tif files.

I had no problems till this evening.

Clicked on your Hamilton Cert file, and it downloaded into my PC ok.

Will investigate further
