Hi,
I`m a bit puzzled over the information on an ancestor`s death certificate, in the part for place of burial is written
"Next Church burying ground, as certified by..."
Would this indicate that the person has NOT been buried in the actual graveyard, but somewhere near the church?
The death took place at 11 North Mellville Place, Edinburgh, her home address, in 1858.
I would appreciate any suggestions as to the meaning, or if anyone else has had this comment on a certificate, thank you.

Thank you Andrew,
I will ask my son to put the picture of the cert in the gallery, I have no idea of how to do that (being a bit of a computer idiot yet)
I`m sure there is no other word in front of next. See what you think anyway when the cert appears.

Hi
Me back again re a question about the gallery.
I clicked on to have a look, but I am not sure how a picture is added?
what should be "clicked on" to start the process? have not used this section yet
Thanks

Hi Maud,
Follow instructions as given elsewhere on TalkingScot by Annette (Nelmit).
All the best,

Follow instructions as given elsewhere on TalkingScot by Annette (Nelmit).
Please include the whole page in its original TIF format as downloaded from ScotlandsPeople. TIF is a good format for these black and white images, and the whole page allows everyone to see other examples of the handwriting.nelmit wrote:You have to be logged in and then.....
Click on Gallery (above)
Click on upload file
Click browse
This takes you to your computer where you should find the image you want to upload.
Double click on the file.
Click on continue - Your file is now uploaded.
I think you then have to wait for approval from TSAG who will post it in the gallery.
Good luck,
Annette M
